I used to collect Garfield books. I have #s 10 through 17, and really wanted the other ones for a few years.
I'm going to spend the rest of...probably the week, seeking these out. It's almost like the harsh-reality version of the strip, without the imaginary cat that only kids under 12 would find funny gone.
That's a good point about the future, the only thing we can do is nullify the sole force that has thus far qualified us, in our own collective regard, as a civilization: the idea of historical progress.
